On 29th August, 2024 Khelgaon Public School celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm to honour the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand "the Wizard of Indian hockey". This event begin with the lighting of the lamp by our chief guest Dr. U. K.  Mishra followed by Saraswati stotram. 

 

The celebration included vibrant cultural performance sports theme dance and impressive gymnastic display by our star gymnasts, showcasing the divorce sports opportunities available at our school.

 

Our honorable Vice Chairman Shri. Anil Mishra was the first to address the gathering he extended his warm wishes for an energetic National Sports Day, emphasized the significance of the day and encouraged every athlete to strive for excellence. This was followed by an address from our esteemed guest Dr. U. K. Mishra who motivated and blessed students to engage passionately in physical activities and competitions.

Inter School Sports competition were held across 17 disciplines with the highlight being the hockey final match. 

 

Many sports were played in which one highlight was cricket match also, it was between Khelgaon Public School and Parth Cricket Academy, in which  Khel Gaon public school won the match. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by, Dr R.C.  Srivastava Director, Khelgaon Public School, who expressed gratitude to everyone who made the event a success.

 

The days events reflected the school's commitment to nurturing sportsmanship and dedication among its students .

KhelGaon Public School hosted a two-day workshop in the school campus, where educators from various schools participated enthusiastically. The workshop aimed to enhance teaching methodologies and foster a collaborative learning environment among teachers.

 

The program featured two distinguished resource persons: Dr. Adleeb Zehra, the Academic Head of Sunbeam School, Mau, and Prof. Sheelu Kashyap, Assistant Professor at Allahabad University. Their insightful sessions focused on innovative teaching strategies, student engagement, and the importance of holistic education.

In a proud moment for KhelGaon Public School, two outstanding students were awarded prize money for achieving a perfect score of 100% in their CBSE 2023-24 Class 12th board examinations. Prateeksha Tiwari received 1 lakh for her exceptional performance in Political Science, while Saronika Jatav was awarded 1 lakh each for her remarkable achievement in both English and History.

 

The Honourable Chairman of the school personally distributed the prize money to the deserving students in a ceremony . In recognition of their hard work and dedication, the teachers who guided these students to success were also honoured. Each of the teachers received 1 lakh as a token of appreciation for their relentless efforts in imparting knowledge and ensuring their students excelled academically.

 

The event marked a significant achievement for the school, celebrating not just the students but also the teachers who played an integral role in their success.
