Academic Honesty

Academic honesty during the advancement of knowledge requires that all students and teachers to respect the integrity of each other's work and recognize the importance of acknowledging and safeguarding intellectual property that belongs to owner.

Members of an academic community, students and faculty assume certain responsibilities. One of these responsibilities is to engage in an honest communication. Academic dishonesty is a serious violation of the trust upon which an academic community depends. All students, staff and faculty at KPS must abide by the Academic Honesty Policy. No one should indulge in Cheating, Plagiarism, Fabrication, Facilitating Academic Dishonesty, Denying the access to information and other materials, falsifying records or official documents.

All facilitator teachers are encouraged to discuss the issues of Academic Dishonesty with entire seriousness in their classrooms to students to make them understand that it is unethical, Parents are urged to extend the support towards this aim with unanimity.

Mannerism, Behaviour & Habits

The School aims to support parents in the task of fostering the growth of sound values and self discipline in every student for achieving acceptable norms of behaviour. The aim of pastoral care is to ensure it as far as possible. The students are equipped with values and information necessary for living in a society/community, which brings a sense of self-discipline. The most effective forms of discipline are examples set mainly by seniors like Teachers, Parents and Guardians. Regular formative guidance is given in class and assembly on values of life and the essential rule of conduct at KPS is to behave sensibly.

All members of KPS community are expected to be respectful and courteous. Physical or Verbal bullying is not a part of the school's ethos. Visitors and Seniors at all time must be welcomed, greeted appropriately and assisted. Each one must at all time each other when we meet and must reply to the greeting from others to set an example in terms of discipline, manner and courtesy.

• Care is taken to ensure that no untoward mishap occurs while your child is with us. However, accidents can never be forecasted.
• The school authority undertakes immediate First-aid care followed up by information to the parent and help in hospitalization for further care-taking.
• If an accident occurs, either in the school premises or while the children are in the school bus or at a picnic/outing/camp/tour, the school authority cannot be held responsible for the same.
