"Winter Carnival – Udaan" at Khelgaon Public School: A Grand Celebration of Festivity, Culture, and Achievement!
On 25th December 2024, Khelgaon Public School hosted its vibrant "Winter Carnival – Udaan" at the school premises, blending festive joy, cultural diversity, and academic excellence in a memorable event.
The day began with the lamp-lighting ceremony by esteemed dignitaries, followed by the soulful rendition of Shubham Karoti, which set a harmonious tone for the celebrations. The Welcome Dance titled "Smile on the Face" by students in colorful costumes marked a grand start to the event. The audience was then treated to a series of captivating cultural programs, showcasing the talents of students in music, dance, and drama.
Dr. Rajeev Verma, Director of the school, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s significant achievements in education and sports. This was followed by a Skit Presentation by the Students on the theme of the birth of Jesus, which was both emotional and inspiring.
Shri Anil Mishra, Vice Chairman of Khelgaon Public School, addressed the audience with a motivating speech, energizing everyone to embrace the festive spirit and enjoy the carnival. Following his speech, the event continued with a spectacular Taekwondo Display and an Aerobics Display, showcasing the physical skills and energy of the students.
Dr. U.K. Mishra, Chairman, delivered his speech, blessing all participants, teachers, and parents, and thanking them for making the event a success. His words filled everyone with warmth and gratitude.
The program then moved on to Felicitations, where students excelling in both sports and academics were honored with certificates and awards for their outstanding achievements. The Mother’s Ramp Walk competition followed, where the winners were felicitated with special hampers.
The event continued with the energetic State Mashup Dance, where students performed dances representing different states of India, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the nation.
The carnival also featured speeches from parents and students, reflecting on the importance of such events in bringing the community together.
The day’s festivities concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ram Pujan Tiwari, Head Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to all the teachers, staff, and participants for their tireless efforts in making the event a grand success.
