Attendance & Leave Policy

Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in an academic session to be eligible for exams and school activities.
Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each school day and during individual subject periods.
Late arrivals may be marked absent for the first period unless a valid reason is provided.
Short Leave (1-2 days):
A leave application, signed by a parent/guardian, must be submitted to the class teacher before the leave.
In case of an emergency, parents should inform the school via phone or email.
Long Leave (More than 2 days):
A formal leave request must be submitted in advance, stating the reason and duration.
Medical leave requests must be accompanied by a doctor’s certificate.
Special Leaves:
Students representing the school in competitions or events will be granted special leave with prior approval.
Religious or personal leaves must be discussed with the class teacher and approved by the school administration.
If attendance falls below the required percentage, students may not be permitted to appear for exams.
Repeated absenteeism without valid reasons may lead to disciplinary action or a meeting with parents.
Students missing three or more consecutive days without intimation may be considered for removal from the rolls.
A student returning after an illness of more than three days must present a fitness certificate.
A rejoining application must be submitted to the class teacher for record-keeping.
This policy ensures discipline while allowing flexibility in genuine cases.
